An overview of the loan
process for refinancing

Obviously, there's a lot involved in getting a mortgage. You wouldn't be spending the time to learn the process if you could fill out a one-page application and get the best loan for you funded the same day. What I do is guide you through the process, so you don't have to worry about all the new rules and regulations as you refinance.

Step one: Analysis and application

In a brief phone conversation I'll get your financial information and goals and help you determine the best loan for you. I'll need information about your employment, your assets, your residence history, and so on for your application. I'll finish the application and e-mail it to you for signature. You simply sign them and either e-mail or fax them back to me along with the copies of your supporting documentation. I can lock the loan if you like at that point. I'll take care of everything from there. An appraiser will contact you for access to your home for their work. I should get loan approval within two weeks and we'll be ready for loan documents.

Step two: Sign documents and your loan is funded

I can arrange signing your documents at your home or at a local escrow company office. You sign the documents and they are sent back to the lender. The loan should be funded four days after you sign. It's that simple.
